NOVA to Use Warhammer 40k 6th Edition
 - All 40k events will be 6th edition including the GT, Invitational, Trios, and Narrative
- This is going to be the Wild, Wild, East, folks - the 5th edition metagame is busted and it's anybody's wargame to figure out the best new rules, combinations, and army lists.
- Join with gamers from as far away as Russia and Australia to learn and master the new edition of Warhammer 40k
- Improved and refined NOVA bracketing system ensures that learning the new edition won't ruin your chance to compete against your peers for generalship prizes
- NOVA Open staff will be dedicating hundreds of hours collectively to mastering the new edition and preparing a full tournament FAQ for any questions GW has not yet addressed

NOVA Painting Competition

The NOVA Open is honored to have had its painting contest named as a qualifier for the Cool Mini or Not (CMoN) painting competition, the CRYSTAL BRUSH.

 This year we'll be offering several Hobby Seminars over the course of the weekend. Several sessions of each class are available. Justin McCoy of Secret Weapon Miniatures will be the instructor.- Airbrushing miniatures

The NOVA Weekend Raffle runs from Friday through Sunday. Drawings occur 9am, 12pm, 3pm and 6pm daily, with the final raffle occurring during the NOVA Awards Ceremony on Sunday evening. Prizes escalate in value as the NOVA Open progresses. All of our top prizes will be awarded at the final raffle drawing of the NOVA Open during the awards ceremony Sunday evening. You must be present to win.

40K Judges Wanted!
The NOVA needs 40K GT judges!
You don't need a comprehensive understanding of the 40K ruleset. Over the next two months, we'll be hosting events designed to help you pick up the art of judging.
Finding and training qualified judges to help with these events is truly one of our greatest needs. If you've EVER thought about trying your hand at judging, please contact us at novaopen@gmail.com.
