Make Your Own Medicated Hoof Packing

Farriers and horse owners can now make their own safe and effective hoof packing. Felt, leather and synthetic pads can be pretreated with Sav-A-Hoof Med-i-sole. Handlers can now make their own inexpensive hoof packing by using recycled pieces of presoaked open-cell urethane foam. The gel also sticks to the sole, shoes and pads with almost no waste. Liquid treatments can run off, which reduces their contact time and effectiveness......

Med-i-sole is one of six products that make up the Sav-A-Hoof family. They are non-caustic formulas that target bacteria and fungi without harming healthy hoof tissue.
