Greetings!

As I sat down to write this month's - my first official - letter for AnimalSense's monthly newsletter, a feeling of complete and total gratitude washed over me. It's been only six weeks since I acquired AnimalSense and already I know it is one the best life choices I've ever made. So I thought I'd make the focus of this inaugural letter all the reasons I am grateful to be the new CEO of AnimalSense.

Lindsay Rapp1) The Clients: From our new clients to clients who have been with AS since our inception 11 years ago, its a joy to watch the bonds that our clients form with their dogs. I've had a special vantage as the Client Services Coordinator for the past year and now as the owner of AS, I have a whole new perspective on your relationships with your pets.

2) The Team: I'm so lucky to have such an amazing and caring team of highly knowledgeable staff who share a deep seeded and meaningful love for dogs. They were one of the driving forces to my decision to purchase AS. Many of the staff have been my mentors since I entered the Academy in 2009 and I continue to learn from each and every one of them every day.

3) Our Training Partners: Without our partners we wouldn't be able to reach the wide audience that we do each week. They allow us to utilize their beautiful facilities and they support our staff, our methods and our business overall. When I visit our locations, I am constantly reminded of the community in which AS operates and I am so grateful it exists.

4) New/Fresh Ideas: Upon purchasing AS, one of my primary goals is to continue the growth of the company. I have been spending hours and hours researching a new and improved website interface and design, a new fresh office location for our clients to visit, as well as making some great personnel shifts. You'll read about our amazing new Client Services Coordinator below.

I look forward to continuing the relationships AnimalSense has fostered over the years, as well as welcoming new clients to the world of positive dog training. Feel free to reach out to me directly at lindsay@animalsense.com.

Woofs!

As you know, their treats are used exclusively by AnimalSense trainers so we know that dogs love 'em!

Stop by either of our Assessment Nights with your friendly dog to meet our trainers and get direction on training. Don't have a friendly dog? Leave her at home and come get help on your own. No registration is necessary.

From Client to Client Services Coordinator

Carol KuhnCarol Kuhn began her  relationship with AnimalSense as a client many years ago. Her interest in dog behavior sparked, she enrolled in AnimalSense Academy, and after graduating became a Junior Trainer. Now, Carol is moving to the AnimalSense office full-time in the role of Client Services Coordinator. "I truly love this business and everything it stands for, so I'm proud and honored to continue my relationship with AnimalSense as a part of the office team. It was just the logical next step!" says Carol.

Students will continue to see Carol in the classroom working as a Junior Trainer. "I love getting real, hands-on experience with our clients and their furry friends, while still being able to learn and grow as a trainer from observing and working with our Senior Trainers.  It helps to build my confidence and ensures that our clients are getting top-notch training and support in their classes and private lessons,"  Carol says.
