Greetings!

I opened last months newsletter with a thank you. As I sit here after a wonderful Thanksgiving I can't help but feel like doing the same thing again this month. As many of you know, ever since graduating from UW Madison, I have considered returning to school for nursing. I even went as far as completing all of my anatomy and microbiology classes last year. Although, I admit, that may have been just to satisfy my thrist for knowing more about my body and how it works. Thanks to you Yoga for Good is doing so well I don't think about nursing so often anymore. Perhaps I thought about it so oten because I thought I should be doing "something else". As part of my yoga practice I am continually learning to stay present. To be here, now. As I continue down the path that Yoga for Good takes me, I relish being in these moments. I am surrounded by compassionate people. People who care enough about themselves to nurture a yoga practice. People who care enough of those around them to foster that practice at Yoga for Good. I am blessed to work with and meet so many charities, volunteers, business owners and students. I know some of you travel some distance to my classes. Most likely passing other studios on your way. Many of you pay more than our fee asking that the balance goes to the charity. Some of you are volunteers that work tirelessly for your cause. I can't tell you enough how thankful I am that all of you are part of my journey. I'd like to ask that the next time you are in meditation at class end to be present, right there, at that moment. You can actually "feel" the room. Our community is unique because of it's make up. It's a powerful experience and I carry that energy with me always. Carry that communal, compassionate energy you feel with you. In fact, don't just carry it with you, pay it forward over this holiday season. Give the gift of presence.
Namaste,
Meg Wambach Yoga for Good |
