MM Oxford Study Services 

MM Oxford Study Services was founded in 1981 by Mustafa Misirlizade.  Family owned and managed, we pride ourselves in providing high quality, multinational (35 - 40 nationalities each year) residential English Language courses in two Oxford colleges in July and August. We offer a fast, efficient, friendly service, with individual attention in a family atmosphere; taking care of every detail from high standard/low ratio teaching and congenial, safe surroundings for learning to welfare and well supervised fully inclusive social activities programmes for individuals or groups.

We wanted to ensure that it was clear to agents and students that we were not just a small part of a large organisation but a complete entity in our own right; specialising in providing courses with personal and individual care and attention at all times. We felt that we could best do this by becoming a member of QE, which was created to promote schools with a similar background and ethos to our own school and not large organisations. QE has since its inception built up a reputation which not only in name represents "Quality". We believe that QE guarantees prospective students and agents the chance to work with trusted, reliable, language courses organisations; in the best locations, providing memorable experiences for all students

We would recommend QE as like our own organisation the personal touch is one of the most important factors within the organisation and so each individual school however small feels an important part of the whole organisation and the representation provided is the same for all schools. Likewise students and agents can feel secure in the knowledge that the information provided is accurate and provided without preference to any particular organisation, enabling them to make an informed choice of course.

Oxford is known throughout the world as a beautiful University City, home to one of the most ancient and renowned centres of learning. It is a lively city in a rich, cultural, historical and architectural setting. Tradition mingles with modern life to create a unique, thrilling atmosphere in which to work and socialise. LILA*, once known as Liverpool International Language Academy, had a launch party to celebrate the opening of its city centre,18 classroom, Academy in February.  

Leanne Linacre, director and co-owner of LILA*, along with her staff, welcomed many friends, colleagues and agenst to the grand opening of the new LILA* building in the centre of Liverpool. Carolyn Blackmore, the chief executive of QE, cut the red ribbon; red, in keeping with the school's new colour scheme.

The new location is ideal for students who like to be in the city centre and want to have access to all the facilities that Liverpool has to offer.  Victoria Lee, LILA* Director said, "We feel that LILA* has acquired the ideal location as a hotspot of Liverpool culture, right in the heart of the city. Students can shop during their lunch break, meet friends for coffee or relax in the city centre park."

Designing the custom-made school took over a year and involved consultation with Liverpool interior design company 'Aztec' and Crosby based graphic design company 'Eyefever'; but that wasn't all. * Director, Leanne Linacre comments, "We used feedback from our students to create a school that really reflects what a student wants. None one knows this better than the students themselves so we took their feedback very seriously! When we blended that with the expertise of Aztec and Eyefever, as well as the LILA* staff, we knew we'd be onto a winner."
