CCISD: Snapshots is a weekly photo newsletter that highlights events, activities and happenings across CCISD. Anyone can submit a photo for CCISD: Snapshots! Just remember the following when submitting photos for CCISD: Snapshots:
- CCISD policy and procedures require all students to have the proper CCISD photo release to appear in CCISD publications
- Not all photos submitted can or will be used in CCISD: Snapshots. The Office of Communications has final photo approval
- Photos must be submitted in .jpg format

| Pirates Look for Treasure at Ross Elementary | |

Ross Elementary kindergartners scoured the school this week searching for hidden treasures. The pirates used their maps and toured the school. The front office staff got in on the fun as well! Their maps led them to the library where hidden treasurers can be found in a good book! |
| Clear Lake Intermediate Staff Go Zero G | |

Math, CTE, and technology teachers from Clear Lake Intermediate worked together to build an experiment that was accepted to fly as part of NASA's Reduced Gravity Program. Teachers Leslie Kettmann, Tommy Gillis, Sara Masters, Amy Watkins and Holly Berndt got to experience near weightlessness as the aircraft flew through 30 parabolic flight patterns. This fall, students in their classes will view footage of their experiment, learn how their teachers reacted to zero gravity (G), and be challenged to replicate the experiment in a 1 G environment. |

Falcon Pass Elementary brothers, Ryan and Ryder Santos got the surprise of a lifetime last week! Their father, Battalion Surgeon Eric Santos, returned from his 8-month tour of duty in Afghanistan and surprised his sons in PE class. Welcome home, Mr. Santos! |
