Behavior Frontiers is In-Network with United Behavioral Health and Anthem Blue Cross
On June 1, 2012 Behavior Frontiers became an in-network provider for two major health plans, United Behavioral Health and Anthem Blue Cross, who provide plans covering applied behavior analysis benefits (ABA) for their members with autism spectrum disorders. If your child receives benefits from either of these plans, please contact Behavior Frontiers Helen Mader at 888-922-2843 asap and we will verify whether your child qualifies for ABA services.

Ability Connection Texas
Behavior Frontiers is proud to partner up with Ability Connection Texas on June 16. We will be hosting a booth at Texas' Walk, Roll, Stroll. It is a family-oriented event created to raise awareness of the challenges faced by children and adults with disabilities. Stephanie's Day CBS 11 and TXA 21 will host a FREE event for special needs children and their families on Saturday, June 16 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at North Park Center (on level one, near Macy's) in Dallas. It will feature interactive fun and entertainment for children including helpful information for parents. Behavior Frontiers looks forward to participating in this fun and free event to provide families with information about our innovative ABA training and treatment programs. Helen Mader Speaking Event Helen Mader, Executive Director of Behavior Frontiers, will be speaking at the newly formed Autism Advocates in Action Support Group (AAIASG) at the Carson Community Center (801 E Carson St, Carson, CA 90745) on June 23, 2012 at from 10am-12pm. Ms. Mader will be speaking about how families can obtain insurance coverage for their childs' ABA services, as well as providing an overview of ABA methods.

ABAI Seattle Conference 2012 Wrap Up
 Behavior Frontiers' team Helen Mader, Grace Gomez, Denice Renteria and Chalene Abrena enjoyed participating in the recent Association for Behavioral Analysis International (ABAI) conference in Seattle in May. The team got the chance to meet with many other professionals at our exhibit booth and we look forward to working together to provide excellent ABA training to those who work with children with autism and other special needs. ABA Provider Group Creates Insurance Task Force
The Southern California Consortium for Behavior Analysis (SCCBA) is a group of ABA providers who are dedicated to the science of applied behavior analysis and to working collaboratively to achieve professional goals that are unattainable individually. They recently created a new task force to address insurance issues and Helen Mader, Executive Director of Behavior Frontiers, is proud to be a member of this important task force. VB-MAPP Now Offers Online App
The VB-MAPP App is a brand new application for the iPad that allows behavior analysts, special educators, psychologists, speech language pathologists and parents alike to conduct what is widely considered to be the "go to" assessment instrument for children and adolescents with developmental delays particularly in the speech and language area.
