Montgomery business group voice support for Orchard Road TIF  study

The Montgomery Village Board has agreed to include funding in 2013 for a Tax Increment Financing (TIF) district study. This could include a variety of properties adjoining Orchard Road.

The (MEDC's) Business Climate Enhancement committee  Chairman, Brian Dolan encourages the business community to get involved and show your support by attending the BCEC meetings. Meetings are held at the MEDC Office, 200 Webster @ 8:30 am on the 2nd Thursday of each month.

The MEDC applauds the Villages effort in helping in the development process.

This is just one of the many efforts of  Village and the MEDC working together to encourage future growth in Montgomery.

Seeking Breakfast Topics

The Business Climate Enhancement committee would like your input.  Is there a specific topic that would help you and your business prosper and grow?  Perhaps you have a product or service you would like to share with the business community.

Several times throughout the year, this committee holds a breakfast meeting where a speaker or panel of speakers are brought in to help educate our business leaders. Our goal is to ensure that the topics are informative and beneficial to the business community. It also provides a great networking opportunity. Over the next year, the BCEC will be discussing the Orchard Road opportunities, if this is something of interest to you.

Please email or call the MEDC office and let us know if other topics may be of interest to you so we can start planning our next breakfast event.
