Last month I introduced Mark Baum, one of our newest MEDC Board Members. This month I would like to introduce Doug Williams, another recently appointed MEDC Board member. We hope to have his photo shortly.
Doug is the Branch manager at the Ogden Hill Facility in Montgomery. Doug has worked for Earthmover Credit Union over seven years with his most recent three years spent in this capacity. Doug has over nine years experience in the banking and financial services industry . His areas of expertise include: retail management, marketing, commercial loan credit analysis and mortgage loans. Doug is a graduate of Aurora University where he received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He is currently enrolled in the Dunham School of Business at Aurora University pursuing an MBA with a concentration in Accounting. When asked about the appointment to the MEDC Board, Doug discussed the opportunity of serving the Montgomery business community. " I look forward to helping foster economic growth in the Montgomery community by offering my advice and expertise on key business issues. The Village of Montgomery has always provided great support to Eartmover Credit Union and I look forward to working with the MEDC and the Montgomery business community.
Doug is a lifelong resident of Yorkville and he currently lives in Yorkville with his wife Carly. They are expecting their first child later this year.
Congratulations and welcome Doug! We are excited to start working with you on a business retention program.
Please extend a warm welcome to Doug.
