Installation Dinner at STC Center

On Sept 29, 2012, Kiwanis Club of Hacienda Heights held its Installation Dinner at STC Center. As one of the sponsors, STC Team attended the event.
The evening marked David Malkin installed as the new president of Kiwanis Club of Hacienda Heights. John Hsu, CEO of STC Management, served as the MC of this event, and became one of the board of directors.

31st Annual Turkey Trot Fun Run/Walk

HACIENDA HEIGHTS, SEPTEMBER 18, 2012 - How often do you get a chance to have fun, work out, and give back to your community at the same time?
Join us November 18, 2012 at the Puente Hills YMCA 31st Annual 5k/10k Turkey Trot! Walk or run at your own pace on your own, or bring your friends and family! Every dollar goes to YMCA scholarships for local youth and families. Participants include walkers and runners of every age, including high school track teams, running clubs, company teams, and moms with strollers.
Pre-event registration for the event is only $20.00. Group discounts are available for groups of 10 or more. The race will begin at the corner of Almahurst and Albatross in the City of Industry. All runners receive a free T-shirt.
For only $5.00, runners 12 and under can enter our 1K youth race. Each runner 12 & under receives a free medal.
In addition to exercise opportunities, sponsorships are needed at all levels, from business card ads and up. Join the sponsorship of the Greater Los Angeles New Car Dealers Association, Supervisor Don Knabe, Industry Manufacturing Council, Hacienda Heights Kiwanis and more. This has been a strong community tradition, with local vendors providing booths and donating products. POMONA FREEWAY (SR-60) LANE CLOSURES

LOS ANGELES COUNTY - The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will close portions of SR-60 from the San Gabriel River Freeway (I-605) to the Orange Freeway (SR-57) separation, as part of a pavement rehabilitation project. Closures are as follows and subject to change.

Detours will be posted. New pavement will improve mobility and enhance safety for motorists. Flatiron West Inc. is the contractor on this $121.5 million project which is expected to complete fall 2014.
