FFDY Father's Day Special Event 天使之家殘障基金會父親節特別活動
On June 2, Foundation For Disabled Youth (FFDY) held Father's Day special event - BBQ Class and tasting with National BBQ Champion Mr.Harry.
It was an special outing with father and son, and an rare opportunity to learn from the best. Mr.Harry charges $400 per person for his famous BBQ class, but he was willing to spend the day with FFDY on good will.

The Foundation For Disabled Youths (FFDY) is a grassroots non-profit organization established in June 2004 in the San Gabriel, California area. The organization was officially formed by parents and other concerned individuals of disabled youths whose initial purpose was to provide aid for the many special needs of their disabled children.

6月2日，天使之家殘障基金會舉辦了父親節特別活動 － 全國烤肉冠軍 Harry 先生的烤肉課程。
這是一次親子和樂的活動，並且請到了最好的老師。Harry先生的烤肉課程一般學費是＄400每人， 但這次他義務參加天使之家的活動。

Since being established in 1996, Asian Pacific Family Center-East has been providing valuable services to many Asian immigrant youth, parents, and families in the East San Gabriel Valley of Los Angeles. Together with community support and partnerships throughout our history, each year through our prevention programs we serve approximately 1,000 new individuals and families in the community. Our 2nd Annual Be Connected: Family & Community Day honors the community support that has enhanced our programs and celebrates the individuals and families that have benefited from our services this school year. As with everything else we strive to do, Be Connected is about bringing families and communities together.
 1996年成立以來，亞太家庭中心－東區為聖蓋博谷地區的亞裔移民家庭提供了寶貴的服務。這次活動表彰了社區對項目的支持並慶祝這一學年里從服務中獲益的個人和家庭。

IMC 演講 －Friedman 醫生，City of Hope
We recently have had the pleasure of attending Dr. Michael Friedman's presentation at IMC luncheon. Dr. Friedman is president and chief executive officer of City of Hope, a cancer research and treatment institution dedicated to innovation in basic and clinical biomedical research and delivery of compassionate, world-class patient care. Dr. Friedman's presentation of how City of Hope facility came into being and the transformation history as the medical cure develops was informative and moving.  近期我們有幸出席了Michael Friedman醫生在IMC午餐會的演講。Friedman醫生是City of Hope的主席和執行長。City of Hope是一家致力於開發基礎和臨床生物醫療的癌症研究和治療機構。他現場演示了City of Hope的設施和醫療水平的進步歷程。 Top |

 This year, the ranking highlights the best 1,000 public high schools in the nation-the ones that have proven to be the most effective in turning out college-ready grads. The list is based on six components provided by school administrators: graduation rate (25 percent), college matriculation rate (25 percent), AP/IB/AICE tests taken per student (25 percent), average SAT/ACT scores (10 percent), average AP/IB/AICE scores (10 percent), and AP courses offered per student (5 percent).
今年的排名列出全國千所最佳公立高中，她們有最好的能力為大學培養畢業生。這份排名基於以下六個衡量標準：畢業率、大學入學率、每學生參加的AP/IB/AICE 考試數量、SAT/ACT 平均分、AP/IB/AICE 平均分，和每學生提供的AP課程。

Institute of Chinese Martial Arts 中華武術學院
 The Institute of Chinese Martial Arts was established in May 2010 by Master Jiawang Gao. Master Gao began martial arts training at the famed Shaolin Temple at the age of nine. He graduated from the Martial Arts Department of Wuhan Physical Education University and has achieved the status of national athlete and national referee in China. Since its inception, the Institute of Chinese Martial Arts has embraced the philosophy of individualized teaching, whereby teaching is adjusted to fit individual students' needs. Under the guidance of Master Gao, students have attained numerous achievements. 中華武術學院成立於2010年5月份。學院高家旺老師祖籍山東，自九歲開始在山東以及嵩山少林寺學習武術，於2005年畢業於武漢體育學院武術系。中華武術學院自建校以來，始終本著："以愛為源，因材施教"的理念來開展武術教學。自建校以來，學生的成績也十分突出。
