Youth Leadership Training Camp Overview on May 8 at STC Center!
青少年領袖品德培養訓練營說明會5月8日在 STC Center！
On Tuesday May 8, 11:00 a.m., STC Collaboration will host a Press Conference to announce to the community the Youth Leadership Training Camp. This event will take place at STC Center, 18558 E. Gale Ave., 3rd Fl., City of Industry, 91748.
STC Collaboration continues to serve the community by providing opportunities to youths of all ages. This summer, we are hosting a Youth Leadership Training Camp to promote character development in youths. The partners that make up STC Collaboration include STC Management, Dance Impressions Productions (DIP), Institute of Chinese Martial Arts (ICMA), with great support from many community leaders and business entities.
All interested individuals, adults and children alike, are invited to come and find out more. Refreshments will be provided.

5月8號星期二上午11點，STC順天聯合將舉辦青少年領袖品德培養訓練營說明會。這個活動將在STC Center舉辦，地址是18558 E. Gale Ave., 3rd Fl., City of Industry, 91748。
STC順天聯合不斷努力為社區的青少年服務。這個暑假，我們打造了青少年領袖品德培養訓練營來促進青少年優良品格的發揚。STC順天聯合的主要成員 STC資產管理、舞印舞蹈中心暨舞印製作 (DIP) 和中華武術學院 (ICMA) 這三個志同道合的團體主辦這次活動，並獲得了許多社區團體領袖和商業機構的大力支持。
歡迎對訓練營感興趣的家長和小朋友屆時參加我們的說明會。現場將有點心提供。

Institute of Chinese Martial Arts Won Medals!
祝賀中華武術學院戰果豐碩！
On April 28, 2012, led by Master Jiawang Gao, Institute of Chinese Martial Arts participated in 2012 Los Angeles International WuShu Tournament and won more than 50 Medals! Master Gao has been devoting a lot of efforts to his students, not only training them well with superb Chinese Martial Arts, but also teaching them good moral characters a Martial Artist should have. STC associates, including our officer John Hsu, were in the team. Congratulations!  4月28日，在高家旺老師的帶領下，STC大家庭成員中華武術學院參加了2012洛杉磯國際武術大會。高老師多年來為學生傾注了許多心血，除了精湛的武藝，他更通過言傳身教向學生傳達習武之人應有的優秀品格。

CalFresh Program Press Conference at STC Center
CalFresh 福利項目說明會在 STC Center
On April 30, 2012, Los Angeles County Public Department of Public Social Services (DPSS) held 2012 CalFresh Awareness Month Press Conference at STC Center.
Sheryl Spiller, the Acting Director of DPSS, DeLlora Ellis Grant, the Program Director, Benny Liang, the Director of Medi-Cal Outreach District #16, Mary Su, Mayor of City of Walnut, and John Hsu, the President of Rowland Heights Chinese Association, attended the event.
The CalFresh Program, formerly known as Food Stamps and federally known as the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), can add to your food budget to put healthy and nutritious food on the table. The program issues monthly electronic benefits that can be used to buy most foods at many markets and food stores.

4月30日，洛杉磯縣公共社會福利局在STC Center舉辦新聞發佈會推廣 CalFresh項目。這一項目旨在提高低收入家庭的營養水準和增強他們購買食物的能力，來保障他們的健康與福祉，提高生活品質。
當天，洛杉磯縣公共社會福利局局長Sheryl Spiller，項目主任DeLlora Ellis Grant，Medi-Cal推廣區域主任Benny Liang，核桃市市長Mary Su，以及羅蘭崗華人協會會長John 許到場參加活動。
福利數額由家庭人口和收入決定。申請獲批准的家庭通過Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) Card 每月獲得福利並進行食品消費。
目前有二十億元的福利基金待發放。洛杉磯縣公共社會福利局正在向百萬人提供CalFresh的福利。相比去年，今年CalFresh福利的申請人數增長了282％。
五月是 CalFresh 推廣月，強調"要健康飲食，更要鍛鍊身體"的理念。
