$1,000 Scholarship Prepared for 2012 STC's Youth Leadership Training Camp!
青少年領袖品德培養訓練營將準備$1,000的獎學金!
Sponsored by STC, and in joint efforts by La Puente YMCA, Dance Impression Production (DIP), and Institute of Chinese Martial Arts (ICMA), the Youth Leadership Training Camp will commence starting 6/18.
The first group is for ages 17-21 from 6/18-6/30, group A. The second group is for ages 13-16 from 7/9-7/20, group B. The third group is for ages 8-12 from 7/23-8/3, group C. In each group, we will select a scholarship recipient, and the scholarship amounts will be $500, $300, & $200 for group a, b, and c respectively.
STC will use team games, healthy exercises, seminars, plus interactions with key community leaders to make this camp a most enriching experience.
This 2-week Camp is free to attendees. Interested individuals need to submit an essay and if accepted, a $20 registration is required on the first day to ensure an indication of commitment. Please see the flyer and the application for all details.
STC, YMCA, DIP, and ICMA look forward to a Summer of great enrichment for all at this Training Camp.
由 STC 順天聯合主辦，La Puente YMCA、 舞印舞蹈中心暨舞印製作（DIP）、 和中華武術學院 (ICMA)共同推出的青少年領袖品德培養訓練營將於6月18日正式開營！
第一梯次招收17－21歲的學員，6月18日－6月30日；第二梯次招收13－16歲的學員，7月9日－7月20日；第三梯次招收8－12歲的學員，7月23日－8月3日。我們將從每一梯次中選出一名出色學員頒發獎學金，獎學金金額依次為＄500、＄300和＄200。
STC 將通過無私的團隊遊戲、有益健康的體育活動、與社區領袖的觀摩和學習，讓孩子們獲得一次有意義的經歷。
為期兩週的對學員免學費。有意者需提交一份申請作文，獲准入營的同學須在活動第一天繳納＄20 報名費。詳情請見傳單和報名表格。

March 29, 2012 Los Angeles Business Journal (LABJ) held its 11th Annual Business Hall of Fame Awards Luncheon. John Hsu was invited to this celebration in honor of the presenting Mr. Dominic Ng (Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of East West Bancorp, Inc. and East West Bank) as the recipient of 2012's Business Person of the Year Award. For the past ten years, LABJ present this award to the esteemed candidates not just for they have the best business minds Los Angeles has to offer, but also for their community contribution and leadership. We want to congratulate Mr. Ng in his achievements.

"Boots-N-Spurs" Casino Night Fundraiser for RUSD Students
羅蘭學區"靴與馬刺"賭場之夜籌款晚會
 The Friends of Rowland Unified Schools Foundation (FOR US) hosted their annual fundraiser at the Industry Hills Expo Center "Pavilion" on March 30, 2012. STC sponsored the event to show our support to the community and the school district. This western-themed, fun-filled evening featured casino games, dinner and dessert, dancing, raffle prizes and a huge Silent Auction. All proceeds from the event support Rowland Unified Classroom Grants and High School Scholarships.羅蘭學區之友基金會於3月30日在 Industry Hills Expo Center "Pavilion" 舉辦了年度籌款晚會。STC 為活動提供了贊助來支持社區和學區。這次充滿西部風情的活動包括了賭場遊戲、晚餐、甜品、舞蹈表演、抽獎和一個大型的匿名拍賣。活動所得用於支持羅蘭學區課堂獎勵和高中獎學金。 Top |
