Hope you're enjoying the start of summer and staying cool. Whew, it's hot out there. We hope to see you soon as you make your pet's vacation reservations for the 4th of July week. It seems that many people are taking the entire week off as we've received many boarding reservations already.  So if your plans are made and know when you're going to be away, don't forget your best friend and reserve today.

We Need Your Old Linens
Not too late for spring cleaning. We could really use your old blankets, towels, bed sheets and the like. Anything you can donate will be put to good use. If you could drop them off at the Resort our furry friends would be much obliged.

Our busiest time of year so don't delay and call today. Time to make your Fourth of July vacation boarding reservations.Don't forget the many luxury services and add-ons we offer to make your pet's stay more enjoyable. Choose from a wide variety of luxuries such as a soothing massage, scenic car ride or a yummy frozen treat or peanut butter filled Kong. We can even customize a private training plan while they board with us.
 
Please remember not to leave your furry friends in a closed car without the air conditioning, not even for a minute and keep fresh, cool water available for them at all times as we endure these scorching days.

Everyone is happy when the warm weather approaches. I'm not only talking about you and me but your pets too. They're excited to go out in the yard and play, go for long walks or hiking or even visit there favorite doggie daycare. 
 
Guess what folks? There's other happy critters too. You know who I'm talking about. Those pesky little critters otherwise known as fleas and ticks. They're actually overjoyed. For them everyday is a picnic and your pets are featured on the menu.
 
Even dogs that just run outside to do their thing and come back in (as I write this a particular Bulldog comes to mind whom I call the apartment dog). Even these guys can get fleas and/or ticks. It's our job to inspect and protect our beloved pets from these pesky little insects. 
 
So, the next time you're at J.M. Pet Resort pick up a supply of Frontline Plus, Advantage, K-9 Advantix II or Liberty and guard your pet from nature's nuisances.
