Beers For This Lovely Weekend We'll keep this weekend's update short, sweet, and to the point, but stay tuned for some exiting Brouwerij happenings in the coming months including perhaps, maybe even a new house beer. But for now, here are a few visual illustrations of two of our upcoming events : April 14th April 27th

Oh, The Keg's We'll Tap
(this weekend)

On Cask:
Stone Arrogant Bastard Aged on OakX2
As a prequel to our Stone event presented above, we thought a great appetizer would be a cask of the notorious Arrogant Bastard Ale, aged on oak. Judging by what's indicated on the cask, this one's got an additional healthy dose of fresh American oak chips right inside the cask. Double oak!

Stillwater Existent Ale
Stillwater could be called "The saison brewery", and this dark saison example is no less impressive than the rest of their portfolio. Deep, dark, smooth with a charred, ashy quality, coffee, pepper, and a hint of smoke. |

Stillwater Cellar Door
Speaking of Stillwater, here's another, you guessed it, saison. In case you missed out on the keg from last week, we've got another one for you. A wheat based saison spiced with white sage. Crisp, dry, and earthy. And yummy. |

Bluepoint No Apologies
If you name a beer "No Apologies", it better be impressive, or at least irreverent or insulting. Luckily, it's all three, and I for one am offended. A big, copper, hop bomb of a double IPA. |

Smuttynose Short Batch # 11 Vunderbar
It's always great to see an American brewery take on such a difficult to brew style as a Pilsener. It's clean, lightly malty, refreshing and limited. |

Cigar City Jai Alai IPA
Perhaps Cigar City's most well know and well received beer. An impressive American IPA with big candied orange peel flavors, pineapple, and a solid caramel malt flavor to counter balance the hops.
