Happy Birthday To Us!

Seems that just yesterday we were crawling on all fours, drooling, and crying.  Always crying.  Picking up Lego pieces and cramming them into our mouth.  Now look at us.  Stumbling around and scribbling on the walls. Breaking things and terrorizing the family cat.   Next Thursday is our 2nd anniversary party, so join us for some food, fun, and beers.  And thanks for 2 great years!

On Cask:

Dry Hop Green Flash Hop Head Red

The red ale for the IPA lover.  Crystal malts impart a candied sugar note to balance the massive hoppiness.  Toffee, pine resin and tropical fruit!

 Founders Imperial Stout

As we wait with bated breath for the return of Founders Kentucky Breakfast Stout we've at least got a rich malty appetizer beer to hold us over.  Pitch black, syrupy goodness.  Richly complex with a cocoa powder note, and rich dark caramel flavor.

Sixpoint Harbinger Saison

Here's a new saison from the guys at Sixpoint.  Don't really have any information on the beer, I would say it's perhaps 5-6%, it's certainly light bodied and dry with a prominant biscuity toasted cereal malt finish.

Green Flash Trippel

Aside from hop bombs, Green Flash certainly brews great Belgian style ales.  This trippel has a big citrus fruitiness, candy, bubblegum, and a smooth but surprisingly light body.  Tasty spring beer.

The Bruery Rugbrod

This one's based on a Danish rye bread recipe, and it certainly shares some elements of rye/pumpernickel bread.  Malty, toffee backbone accented with hints of tangy tartness, spice, dark fruit and earth.

Breckenridge Vanilla Porter

Here comes another Breckenridge beer straight from Colorado.  Lighter in color than most porters, creamy and round with a distinct milk chocolaty vanilla flavor.
