....there certainly will be my friends, there certainly will.

As well as a few less hoppy options, a fresh firkin from Barrier brewing,
and some great new bottles.

first, let's discuss our upcoming event.  Unless you've been living under a rock,
you know we're fans of Victory Brewing and their beautifully crafted ales and lagers.
Because Victory brews such a wide range of outstanding beers, we've decided to blow
the doors off, then raise the roof and perhaps if there's time, even let the dogs out.

Join us as we celebrate 16 of Victory's latest and greatest,
including a few new release beers like their Irish Pub Ale, Summa, and a
new Braumeister Schwartzbier.  There'll be plenty to choose from, so pace yourself!

Our thanksgiving hours will be as follows:
Open 10am to 4pm Thursday November 25th
with regular hours before and after Thursday.

Today's Firkin Du Jour
(that's the firkin of the day)

Dry Hopped Barrier Ruthless Rye IPA

Evan filled us up a special firkin for this week of his popular
Rye IPA.  Custom hopped with Chinook and Cluster hops.
This one's sure to taste great.

And From Our Taps

Brewdog/ Mikkeller I Hardcore You

What's better than this?!? A collaborative effort from European heavyweights Brew Dog and Mikkeller.  The boys at Brew Dog graciously offered up their brewery to create a collaborative ale combining Brew Dog's "Hardcore" Double IPA with Mikkeller's
"I Beat You" Double IPA.  The result is a massively hopped
double IPA from Denmark and Scotland's most innovative brewers.  I Hardcore you.

21st Amendment Hop Crisis

Interesting Story.  21st Amendment until recently called this beer Double Trouble.  After it was brought to their attention that the Founder's brewery had named their double IPA the exact same (pictured left), they decided that rather than involve themselves in a lawsuit, they would just change the name. And so Hop Crisis was born.  A 9.5% Imperial IPA aged on oak spirals.

Sixpoint Signal IPA

Bengali Tiger isn't the only IPA in Sixpoint's arsenal.  This one's a lightly toasted floral IPA with a full body, bready backbone, and a manilla head.

Southern Tier Old Man

A great winter beer with a great name.  A malty copper ale with notes of toffee, molasses and a hint of piny, citrusy hops. Finishes with a pleasant, light warming alcohol note.

Barrier Brewing Antagonist ESB

The Barrier beers keep coming, and this is another great one.  Malty, fruity, with a clean and refreshing finish.  Like an American take on an English style ale.
