On Draft This Fine Labor Day Weekend
September is finally here, and with it comes Oktoberfest. Victory is know for producing some of the cleanest American lagers ( i.e. Prima Pils) and their Festbier is no exception. Munich malt imparts a richness without being cloying, and the German hops provide a sharp herbal note.

Two Brothers Cane & Ebel
Rye beers are becoming an increasingly popular beer style. They seem to appeal to both the malty beer lover, and the hop head. Cane & Ebel's rye imparts a spicy tang which pairs well with the citrus hop bitterness. A strong amber malt backbone provides body, sweetness and balance.

Goose Island Matilda
As part of Goose Island's vintage series, they've created a Belgian Pale Ale by the name of Matilda. Golden, fruity, spicy and dry. This beer pairs especially well with shellfish, and on top of that, you can age it for 5 years.

Butternuts Porkslap Pale Ale
This beer is too popular in cans not to eventually put on draft. Porkslap is a malt forward English leaning American Pale Ale. It's round, well balanced and buttery with a strong caramelized sugar note. Not too sweet, it's a great crowd pleaser.

Lagunitas Little Sumpin' Sumpin'
What better way to end the summer than with a little sumpin' sumpin'? This new pale wheat ale from Lagunitas appeals to the IPA drinker. Not a typical wheat beer, this one has an intense floral hop aroma and flavor.
