On Draft This Weekend (6/11-6/13)

Founders Red's Rye

Here comes another wave of impeccable
Founders Ales.  This first one is in Rye Pale
Ale form.  Rate beer gives Red's Rye a
99/100 overall and 100/100 for the style.
Possibly the best American example of a
rye ale available.

That's right. Triple IPA.  Who cares if it's not
really a beer style.  Over the top hoppy, 200
bittering units, 13% alcohol, and extremely
limited.  We have a very small quantity of this
one, so try it while it's here.

A special treat for those fans of sour ales.
Jolly Pumpkin has been at the forefront of the
American sour ale movement, through use
of their special house yeast strain, lactobacillus
and open fermentation techniques, Jolly
Pumpkin creates amazing sour versions of a
variety of styles. Calabaza Blanca is their take
on a  traditional Belgian white ale.

Rogue Brutal Bitter

Now titled Brutal IPA, this traditional
English Bitter is brewed with 100% floor
malted Maris Otter malt, an heirloom variety,
and aggressively hopped with a single
hop variety called crystal.  Aromatic, bitter,
and highly quaffable.

Southern Tier Heavy Weizen

Like a Bavarian style hefeweizen on steroids.
This spring seasonal has a large wheat
component, German hops and Bavarian
yeast.  All the banana, clove flavors  you come
to expect from a weiss bier, but in much larger
quantities.
