The Nicholas Group is a 3D scanning company and also a representative of other VFX companies that specialize in different aspects of the Visual Effects industry. This gives us the ability to offer services that compliment each other and also stand on their own.
We scan any size object or area you need. We can scan small items or large by Lidar scans of sets and environments (such as battlefields). Anything you need in 3D scanning is possible and guaranteed. Our company has more that 30 years of combined experience.

The Nicholas Group also represents Mocap in optical form or inertia technologies. Mocap has re-energized the thinking of a lot of directors and Visual Effects to give their virtual characters more realistic movement. The technology is certainly playing it's part in the story telling process.
Also in our representation is a Visual Effects House. We are experts in adding or subtracting from shots using the latest techniques. We produce 2D and 3D effect shots and bid aggressively as the off shore work makes it tempting to leave LA. We do our best to give you more for less and keep the work local. This helps keep the work where you can review it and make changes fast.
