UN Lauds Generations United's Work

Ban Ki-moon, Secretary-General for the United Nations, recently issued a report,  "Preparations for and observance of the twentieth anniversary of the International Year of the Family in 2014." In it, under a section called Intergenerational Solidarity Initiatives, he cited Generations United for our work in promoting shared sites. In addition, a section on page 9 of the report features excerpts from a paper that Generations United Executive Director Donna Butts prepared for the UN's expert group meeting held last March in Doha.

Our long-time United Nations representative Kevin Brabazon of New York University has company: Susanne Bleiberg Seperson of Dowling College and Tamar Landes of DOROT who will also represent Generations United at the UN. Thanks to one and all!
