Summer Issue
July 2010
Greetings!
Whenever I see something that looks especially helpful for those of you working in the field, I save it for a future newsletter. I was not aware until this was put together that just about everything I had saved had to do with finances and marketing. I hear from you every day that this is a serious concern right now so I hope these resources come in handy.

Let me know if there are specific types of resources you would like me to feature in the future.

Sincerely,

Regina Podhorin

Opening Doors: Federal Strategic Plan to Prevent and End Homelessness
USA Council on Homelessness Seal logo
"Homelessness cannot be solved by a single agency or organization, by a single level of government, or by a single sector. Everyone should be reminded of the intricacies of homelessness as a policy area, and remember that preventing and ending homelessness will take real coordination, collaboration, and a constant exchange of ideas."  HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius.  This is a comprehensive report by the United States Interagency Council on Homelessness and reminds us that networked governance and fund raising is the way of the future. Who are your collaborators and partners?
