Radio & Twitter Promotions
Two events signal the beginning of summer in Carmel, Memorial Day weekend and the opening of the Waterpark at the Monon Community Center. This season, Carmel Clay Parks & Recreation began an aggressive radio advertising campaign to both raise awareness of the Waterpark's opening and highlight the many summer programs at the Monon Community Center.

Radio ads and traffic report sponsorships began running May 29th and will run through July on WFBQ (94.7 FM), WIBC (93.1 FM), WNDE (1260 AM), WFYI (NPR 90.1 FM) and WRDZ (98.3 FM - Radio Disney). Several of the stations will offer dial-in contests for listeners to win day or family passes to the Monon Community Center.

An additional contest will help grow the Monon Community Center's Twitter and Facebook fan page. Daily messages will be sent out through the Monon Community Center's new Twitter address @MononCommunity. Followers and friends can retweet the MCC and CCPR messages throughout June. The follower who retweets the most twitter messages will receive a free annual pass to the Monon Community Center.

Listen in and sign up to follow the Monon Community Center on twitter today or become a fan on facebook and help share the natural beauty, fitness and recreation programs and the outdoor aquatic fun at the Monon Community Center this summer.
