Born Learning Trail Installed at West Park
On Friday, April 30, 2010, the United Way of Central Indiana (UWIC) installed a Born Learning Trail at West Park. The trail provides a fun and easy way for Carmel parents, grandparents and caregivers to use outdoor visits as an opportunity to build on language and literacy skills that are critical for school readiness. A series of signs are posted, sponsored by St.Vincent Carmel, along the path at West Park. The Born Learning public awareness campaign hopes to inspire parents to turn everyday moments into teachable moments.
Thank you to United Way and all their volunteers for helping install and paint the Born Learning Trail.
