Summer Program Registration
Program registration for our summer recreation programs began yesterday. View the summer brochure or register online.

Summer Community Garage Sale
The fee for this event was misprinted within our recreation brochure. The fee for vendors is actually $5/parking space (not the $40 plus $5 noted in the brochure). Tables and chairs may be rented for an additional $5 each.

Group Fitness
Spring Break Schedule
We are offering some exclusive Group Fitness classes during Spring Break. Please click here to view the schedule. Aqua Fitness classes will continue throughout Spring Break week. There will not be a change in date or time for these classes.

As of May 1, there are two great ways to access Group Fitness classes, an Unlimited Group Fitness Pass or the day pass. We will no longer be offering registration for these classes.
Volunteers Needed

MCC LeafCarmel Clay Parks & Recreation is seeking energetic volunteers to help with our Nickel Carnival event on April 16. The event takes place from 5-9 p.m. We will need help with ticket sales, set-up/take-down, running carnival games, and handing out prizes to the lucky winners. If interested in volunteering for this event, please fill out a volunteer application and submit it to Sarah Carling, Special Events Supervisor, at scarling@carmelclayparks.com. Volunteers should be 15 years and older. If 15 years and younger you must be accompanied by an adult to volunteer. For more information, please call Sarah at 317.573.5243.

Summer is right around the corner. Book your private rental and birthday parties now at the Waterpark. For more information and questions, contact parties@carmelclayparks.com.

Born Learning Trail

Volunteers from United Way of Central Indiana's (UWCI) Hamilton County Advisory Board, Mayor James Brainard, County Commissioner Christine Altman, Carmel Chamber President Mo Merhoff and  high-level execs from St.Vincent Carmel will install a Born Learning Trail at West Park in Carmel. West Park is located at 2700 W. 116th St.

The United Way Born Learning Trail contains signs with instructions for simple games that any adult can play with young children. Carmel  parents, grandparents and caregivers  can turn an excursion at the park into fun learning moments. Activities include signage that encourage questions and exploration along with learning activities on the ground such as hopscotch, a vibrantly painted pathway, and letters, numbers, and shapes.
