The Paragon School of Pet Grooming is dedicated to providing the highest quality pet grooming education for our students. Chihuahuas to Newfie's, stylish trims to low maintenance grooms, Paragon is your source for a clean and healthy pet. Whatever your lifestyle, we can tailor your pet's coat to suit his/her activity level. Ready for a new look? Our friendly and knowledgeable staff will be happy to provide a free consultation to help you get the style you're looking for.
We have many options for you to consider to help your pet look and feel his best! Ask us about these wonderful services:
- Finishing Spray - more than a long-lasting cologne, this conditioner actually helps extends the life of your pet's groom by repelling dirt and preventing matting.
- Oatmeal Shampoos and Deep Conditioning Treatments - dry, itchy skin is no match for our moisturizing products. If your pet is scratching and uncomfortable due to dry and irritated skin, these products can bring long lasting relief.
- Bows and Bandannas - Why not treat your furry friend to an adorable and stylish accessory?
- Nail Filing - trimming nails can leave them sharp and rough. Filing them gets them shorter and smoother to they won't catch on your skin, clothes, and furniture. If you have young children or adults with sensitive skin, this quick treatment is a must for preventing scratches!
- Flea Baths - Let us help you eliminate pests on your pet. Our special shampoo smells great, too!
- De-matting and De-shedding Treatments - Tired of vacuuming huge tumbleweeds of hair? Let us help! Your pet will look and feel great - and what's better is that the hair will be on our floor, not yours!

Did You Know? 
Did you know that ear problems are one of the top 10 reasons that dogs require visits to veterinarians?
If your dog is prone to ear infections, we can help. Standard with all full service grooming comes ear cleaning. We'll use a mild cleanser to gently swab out the outer ear opening. If we notice anything unusual, we'll bring it to your attention. A few pets also have an abundance of excessive coat growing in the ear canal which inhibits airflow and can lead to problems. In most cases, it is beneficial to have some of this coat removed followed by a thorough cleaning with a mild antiseptic type ear cleaner. Keeping the hair under the ear flaps shorter also prevents bacterial growth and keeps the area free of dirt and moisture. All of these are an easy ways to help your pet feel her best! |
