Skunk Season!
It's
Spring and skunks are on the move! If your pet gets a little too
curious about our striped "kitties", follow these easy steps:
1. Call us
immediately. The quicker we can begin the bathing treatment, the more
successful we will be in eliminating the odor.
If it is after hours, leave a message so we can address your needs first
thing in the morning. In the meantime, keep you pet contained in a small space
that can be sanitized later.
2. Place a protective
covering over your car seat so the odor does not get into the upholstery as you
transport your pet - it can later be removed or thrown away.
3. Our odor
neutralizing treatment is a multi-step process. During the process, we will
also treat your pet's collar if it has been exposed to the skunk odor as well.
4. At completion, your
pet may still have a light lingering scent of skunk but it is mild enough that most
pet owners don't have any trouble allowing their pet to partake in family activities
again.

We'll make sure his ears are clean, check his glands, and trim his nails before he comes home looking and feeling his best!
