There is a time for everything,
 and a season for every activity under the heavens:

 

This week is a time of restoration and rest for Carrie and I.  The dog walker will be walking the dogs, the house sitter will be writing his novel, and Carrie and I will be taking a much needed vacation.

 

In case of pastoral care emergencies please contact Dil and she will get in touch with Rev. Jihyun Oh who is covering.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT FELLOWSHIP
  

Gathering at 6 pm in the Donnell Building will resume on July 11.

Volunteer opportunities to help with the Summer Camp through GFM are available so come and find out how you can get involved!

 

The summer day camp is held on the following dates: July 2 - 5; 9 - 12; 16 - 19 from 9 am - 12 pm.

 

 

 

 

 

 

BOUNTIFUL BAGS

 

Food Packing for over 30 families will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 3:45 pm.
In addition to the Family Bags we will also be distributing over 500 lunches daily to the children of Indian Creek Elementary. If you would like to get involved please contact bountifulbags@bellsouth.net and let us know how you would like to serve.

 

 


 

MEMORIAL DRIVE COMMUNITY CHILDRENS PROGRAM

 

Parade and Picnic Lunch - by Carol Cromley

  

The fourth of July children's parade at MDPC has marched for 50 years! They go all around the church, including inside the Donnell Bldg so they can wave their flags for the staff. Then they parade near Memorial Drive where the people in cars and trucks wave back and cheer them on. The parade is followed by a picnic in the breezeway.
