When you have completed the survey please email dilpremji@aol.com so that we can keep track of who has completed the survey. Completing the attached survey is one way that you can support the mission and ministries of the church.

As of today, we have received 37 completed responses.

Hard copies will be available at the church on Sunday for those without computer access.

READINGS

Revised Common Lectionary Readings for Sunday, May 13, 2012, the Sixth Sunday of Easter (Year B)

PASTOR'S NOTE

Maurice Sendak, author of Where the Wild Things Are, passed away this week. An article from the NY Times reads in part:

"the wild things are deliciously grotesque: huge, snaggletoothed, exquisitely hirsute and glowering maniacally. He always maintained he was drawing his relatives - who, in his memory at least, had hovered like a pack of middle-aged gargoyles above the childhood sickbed to which he was often confined."

When I read this the first thing that came into my mind was, "I hope that the congregation doesn't have the same experience during my pastoral care visits!" The important reminder in all of this is just how important GRACE is for all of us; and for the gift of this reminder, I am truly thankful.

Peace of Christ Always,
George
