G

Sing to the Lord a new song; play skillfully and shout for joy!  Each and every one of us has a unique gift of time, talent, and treasure to share in worship.  Do you have a song to sing? A dance? A prayer to share?  Can you read to the children of MDPCCP?  Whatever your treasure, I hope that you will find a way to share it, giving glory to God in joyous service.

 Peace of Christ Always,

George

Service of Healing and Wholeness

Wednesday at Noon

Prayer Writing 101
Wednesday                6:00 to 7:30 pm

I bet you are a poet and didn't know it.
This Wednesday we will be exploring the elements of liturgical prayer.  The words we use to describe God, the ways in which we talk about God, say a lot about who we are and what we believe about God.  Brian Wren, author of many of the hymns in the Presbyterian Hymnal, taught this course at Columbia Theological Seminary and this crash course in liturgical prayer is based on his lectures.  My promise is that by the end of the evening there will be plenty of prayers to share in worship.  Gifts for God from the people of God.

Light refreshments will be served.
