We need adults who will volunteer at least once every couple of months to serve as "crowd control" in our growing Sunday School class for children in the age group 5-12 years.  We also welcome church members who will join the teaching rotation.  Our curriculum is activity-driven and invites parent-involvement during the week following the lesson. The Challengers Sunday School class will begin meeting in the MDPC library, Sunday, October 10, 2010.  We will start promptly at 9:15 am.

Remember the fun SAM Spring Fling and Fall Outings at Calvin Center?
Well, Lizabeth (aided by Pastor Barry) was the driving force.
 
We have invited Lizabeth to have a morning of "everything you need to know"
Especially for the middle and older-age members, care-givers and friends.
 
The date and time:  Saturday, October 16 from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
 
Where:  Room 101 (in the Office Building) at MDPC
 
The cost: your time and interest only.

When was the last time you played Monopoly?  Risk?  Life?  Uno?  Pente?  We are hosting a game night just for the FUN of it!  Bring your family, bring your friends, bring your neighbors, bring your neighbor's friends, bring your neighbor's family and join us in the MDPC Jim Guess Activities Building for a relaxing social evening of games.  The evening will begin around 7:00 p.m. until 9:30-ish with light snacks and refreshment.
 
Don't worry, there will be plenty of games to choose from, or you can certainly bring your favorite to share!

Afterwards, the youth are invited to stay for the lock-in!  More fun and games and very little sleep!
