Are you ready to celebrate Easter? It's just beginning!
In our culture, Easter is over - it was a day of egg hunts, chocolate bunnies, and Sunday brunches. However, as Christians, we believe that Easter is not one day, but a season of celebrating the good news - God's victory over sin and death. In the church's calendar, the days between the celebration of the Resurrection and the celebration of Pentecost are called Easter. During this Easter season I invite you to renew your commitment to discipleship. May these fifty days be a time when we, as individuals and as a congregation, prayerfully seek to discern how God is calling us to live as Easter people, showing God's love in our world.
