WILL YOU PRAY WITH ME?

Do you want to become more intentional about time for prayer and spiritual growth?  Many people are more likely to do so if they covenant with a group to pray together.  Pastor Mary Jane will host a Knit One, Pray Too group at her home on Thursday, March 18, 10:00-11:00 AM. You are invited to bring your knitting, crochet, handwork, or just yourself (!) for a time of fellowship and prayer.  Call or email (mdpcpastor@bellsouth.net) for directions to Mary Jane's home and to let her know you're coming.

Bible Study

Pastor Mary Jane Cornell is leading a study on the Book of Revelation on Wednesday evenings during Lent.  To prepare for this week's study, read Revelation 7:1 - 11:14 and 19:1-10.  What do these passages tell us about the struggle of faithful disciples in the face of evil?  We begin with soup at 6:00 PM; the Bible study is 6:30 -7:30 PM.

Lenten Series

Pastor Barry's Annual Lenten Series will continue on Fridays at 11:00 am in the Choir Room until Good Friday when a service will be held in the Sanctuary - also at 11 am.  This year the topic will be the Passion section of  Handel's "Messiah" illustrating the ways Handel exegeted and presented the message through music.
