DEKALB LONG TERM RECOVERY GROUP

A note to anyone who lives in DeKalb County and had damage from flooding in September:
Feb 1-12 the Christian Reformed World Relief Committee, the "green shirts", are in DeKalb assessing the damage so that the DeKalb Long Term Recovery Group will know the extent of construction assistance needed. It is important for damage to be assessed by the green shirts if construction assistance is needed to repair damage from the September floods. A Walk-In Center at Northlake Church of Christ, 1625 Cooledge Road, Tucker (just off Hwy 78 at Brockett Rd.) is open 11 am to 7 pm Monday through Friday and Saturday, February 6 from 9 am to 5 pm. Additionally, residents may call 678-406-7747 and leave a message for someone to return the call.
