Butte County Cold Foam In-Place Recycling

In an effort to rehabilitate a two mile stretch of roadway along the Oro Bangor Highway in Oroville, CA, Siegfried provided the technical specifications for the implementation of a Cold Foam In-Place Recycling (CFIPR) technique. The road replacement technology is an on-grade method of pavement rehabilitation that consists of pulverizing the existing asphalt concrete pavement and a portion of the underlying granular base, mixing with a foamed paving asphalt, grading and compacting the recycled mixture, and overlaying the recycled surface with a new layer of hot mix asphalt. The result is a completely refurbished roadway that is completed in a significantly quicker time than most traditional methods with a high content of recycled material.

Landscape Architecture Department Grows

Siegfried's recently established Landscape Architecture Department has seen steady growth over the past few months and we have responded by bringing on additional staff members including a new Landscape Designer.
Recent wins include the development of a Landscape Master Plan for the City of Palo Alto's Regional Water Quality Control Plant and Recycling Center, Landscape Improvements for the East Bay Municipal Utilities District (EBMUD) Oakland Reservoir, and many other projects throughout the Central Valley and beyond.
Being a community focused firm, Siegfried has also recently agreed to donate Landscape design services for the improvements at the newly remodeled Sacramento Emergency Food Bank. Landscape design elements include a BBQ and seating area, overall landscaping and screening, and the addition of a community educational garden where customers of the Food Bank can learn to establish, grow, and maintain their own urban gardens.
