City of Rio Vista Waterfront Park Project

Rio Vista Waterfront 250 x 150The re-developed waterfront community park, designed by Siegfried's Landscape Architecture Department, is part of a pilot project for the city of Rio Vista.  The ultimate goal of the project is to install a full-length waterfront promenade along the banks of the Sacramento River.  The new park design included benches, picnic tables, flagpoles, a public restroom, a fish cleaning station and access to the City's fishing pier.

The future promenade will continue along the length of the river and extend out toward the water creating a unique waterfront entrance to the City.  The City's  Waterfront Projects are designed to provide access to downtown for people walking and biking from the north to south sides of town and to provide an attractive alternative to driving.

This exciting waterfront project was also recently awarded the Planning/Transportation for Livable Communities Plan of the Year Award from the Solano Transportation Authority.

Siegfried Wins Palo Alto Survey Project

Chris Survey Left 250 x 150We're excited to announce that Siegfried was recently awarded a 72,000 LF street surveying project by the City of Palo Alto, CA.

"This project is not only a good win because of it's size, it also shows that Siegfried can be a major contender when bidding large jobs in the East Bay; a market that we've been recently targeting." said Paul J. Schneider, P.E., Principal and Vice President with Siegfried.

Siegfried is also the project engineer for the on going emergency water well project and the Eleanor Pardee park and reservoir projects for the City of Palo Alto.  Both projects are currently in progress and on schedule.
