Plus, in Conjunction with the Conference…
In addition to the full range of conference sessions and pre-conference courses and field trips, there are some new activities happening in conjunction with the conference:
- The American Pastured Poultry Producers Association (APPPA) welcomes everyone to come talk about pastured poultry and meet APPPA members from around the nation on Thursday evening. To learn more about APPPA, click here.
- The Greenhorns, a new group dedicated to building networks for young farmers, will hold an informal get together for young farmers during the lunch hour Friday. To learn more about the Greenhorns, click here.
- There will be a free screening of the new documentary film “What’s Organic About Organic?” Friday evening. The co-producer and a star of the film, our own Marty Mesh, will lead an informal discussion immediately following the show. To learn more about this documentary and to see the trailer, click here.
- During the lunch break on Saturday, there will be an informal gathering of those who participated in the Terra Madre conference and those who want to learn more about that international event.
