As part of our ongoing mission to bring new plays to our nation’s capital, The Inkwell turns your world on its ear with 20-minute snippets of three fascinating new plays: Schrodinger’s Cat makes an appearance in Kristin Idaszak’s FUGUE (FOR PARTICLE ACCELERATOR) to fool with the relationship between time and space as a couple wrestles with a terrible decision. In Jonathan Goldberg’s DEUS MACHINA EX OR ELEANOR ROOSEVELT VERSUS THE GOD MACHINE, the indomitable Eleanor Roosevelt fights the Wild Man of Borneo, the diabolical leader an evil conspiracy that could bring an end to life as we know it. And in FURBELOW by J. Stephen Brantley, a humble vine keeper shakes the foundation of an imaginary empire with the simple decision to give a grape away.
