A message from Superintendent Dr. Curtis Jones

This week, the Griffin-Spalding County School System was ably represented by six Griffin High School students in the Georgia legislature. These students supported the Georgia General Assembly as pages of Lt. Gov. Casey Cagle as the assembly's current session comes to an end.
  • Clyde Forbes (12th Grade)
  • Christopher Foster (12th Grade)
  • Exzayvius Williams (12th Grade)
  • Darius Wynn (12th Grade)
  • Dale Ming (11th Grade)
  • Jamal Jordan (10th Grade)

The information I received was simply this: Lt. Governor Cagle said that our six students are some of the best representatives of what Georgia has to offer. He commented on their performance of duties and their appearance.

We all have the opportunity to realize that their success is our success. These high school students were also middle and elementary school students in our system. Congratulations to all who have worked with these six young men. And remember - it only happens because you Dare to Do Better!

Thanks, and have a good weekend!
