Attention 8th Grade Parents

High schools will begin the registration process for the 2012-13 incoming 9th grade class as early as February 9th. Thus, the second phase of our transition plan for current TCS 8th grade students is underway. Mrs. Ryan will be working with 8th graders this month to create a 4-year high school plan using the FACTS.org website. In addition, three days have been set aside for individual high school planning appointments. Those dates are February 1, 3 and 6. If your 8th grader has not submitted their date and time preference for this appointment, please email Mrs. Ryan by Friday, January 13th.

2011 - 2012 Annual Fund Update

The calls were made, the letters mailed, the emails distributed - and you replied!  Thank you to The Christ School families and supporters who have helped make this year's Annual Fund Campaign the healthiest, by far, for The Christ School.

Half way through the campaign, TCS students are benefiting from a 73% increase in donor participation and a 17.5% increase in donations.  Thank you to all of our supporters!

The 2011 - 2012 Annual Fund Campaign runs through June 30.  If you have not yet made your gift, we would greatly appreciate your support. Our goal this year is 100% participation by our families and we need YOU to help reach this goal.

Please make The Christ School one of your philanthropic giving sites. Your gift can be made by check or credit card or pledged through the end of The Christ School's fiscal year - June 30. For your convenience, on-line giving is also available on The Christ School website.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Joanne Fleming, Director of Development.

Thank you for helping us stand strong for the students of The Christ School.

GPD logoGrandparents' Day is less than one month away! Help us prepare for this special celebration by emailing a photo of your child(ren) with their grandparent(s) to Mrs. Lindsay Bryan.  Photos are due on or before January 27, and each family is welcome to send two photos.

Place Your Personal Message in our 2012 Yearbook!

Would you like to feature your favorite photo of your child in the yearbook or surprise a student or a teacher with a two-line message?

The Christ School Yearbook Journalism class offers you two different opportunities to make lasting memories.

  • For a $20 donation: Surprise a student or teacher with a two-line message to be included in our new "Lions' Lair" section in the yearbook!
  • For a $75 donation: Feature a photo of your favorite TCS lion (with friends) and your own special message in a business card-size ad.

Kindly return the advertising agreement with your content and payment by January 19 to The Christ School Yearbook, 106 E. Church Street, Orlando, FL 32801. Please email photos or questions to Mrs. Minnick, Yearbook Adviser.
