Repro One Fast-Cast Urethane
The Most Trusted Brand in Tooling...Just Got Better! Repro One has quickly become on e of our most popular fast-cast urethane systems. Our newest formulation is engineered to be the hardest and most heat resistant Repro product yet, and we've made it even easier to work with. Our non-settling formula means it is easier to mix, and its lower density means you'll get even more yield out of every unit. Repro One contains less solvent than traditional fast-casting systems, which means you'll notice less odor, less shrink and improved release properties for easier demolding. It is even compatible with polystyrene! This formulation is particularly well suited for closed mold applications, and its unique properties and low moisture sensitivity make it one of the most stable fast-cast products available anywhere.

Do urethanes need a primer to adhere to metal?
Yes, here is the procedure:

Clean the surface with a solvent such as acetone.
- Abrade the surface by sanding, grinding or
sandblasting.
- Apply a coat of Devcon FL-10 one component
primer.
- Permit to dry for 60 minutes.
- Apply a second coat of Devcon FL-10 (for non-aqueous
immersions) or Devcon FL-20 (for applications in aqueous immersions) and permit to dry for 30
minutes.
- Immediately pour the urethane against the primed
surface or before 2 hours of the application of the last coat.
What is a good repair material for wood, MDF,

Freeman Hi-Temp Tuf-fil is an excellent repair material that is . low in cost with a paste consistency for applications on flat or vertical surfaces. It hardens in 15 minutes and is easily sanded or machined. Hi-Temp Tuf-fil offers a temperature resistance to 350ºF that allows for repairs on high-temp tooling such as vacuum form and epoxy tools.

What should I use to release liquid silicone from a cured
silicone part or mold?
Which RenShape board would you recommend to use with
our silicone rubber.
All of our RenShape Tooling boards can be used with the
silicone rubber except for the lower density foam boards such as the RenShape
5020, 5025, 5030, and 5045. These
boards can cause cure inhibitions with certain silicones.
