Bring Your Valentine to Pilates!

Make it a love-in when you bring your colleague, significant other, friend or relative to your private or duet session at NO EXTRA COST! If you are bringing your Valentine to your duet session, please okay it with your partner ahead of time. Only one guest per session. Please notify the studio at least 24-hours ahead of time, so that we may manage the studio space accordingly. |

All Populations Mat (APM)
February 27-28, March 6-7, 13-14
This course teaches the first three tiers (Fundamental 1, Fundamental 2 and Intermediate) of the Mat repertoire. Students will learn how to modify exercises for all age groups and fitness levels to create safe and effective workouts. Emphasis is placed on maintaining variety and providing small challenges while safely progressing a client in order to avoid monotony. 68 Exercises Prerequisite: ABP or proof of competency

Pilates Foundations 10-Week Series
with Melinda Kausek
Mondays at 6pm, January 11 - March 15, 2010!
Brand new to Pilates? Or maybe you've been practicing for a while, but feel like you've reached a plateau? Enter Pilates Foundations. Inspired by Melinda's own personal Pilates journey, this progressive, 10-week series will delve into the essence of Pilates movements on the Mat, Reformer, and the Chair.

Each week will focus on how to get the most out of each exercise, whether it's brand new or something you've done a thousand times. Get a sense of how the Equipment can both support and more deeply challenge the body and how nothing is more honest than good, clean Mat work. Also an excellent base for those pursuing their Pilates Certification!
Class is limited to 5 people and will build from week to week, starting with fundamentals and working toward the advanced work. Pre-registering for the entire series is highly recommended. Take advantage of our 10 Group Equipment Package for additional savings. |

An Ounce of Prevention...
with a little more security
We've not run into any situations yet, but, in the interest of preventing any harrassment or theft, we may be locking the doors during private sessions and/or classes, especially in the early morning and late evening hours.
Of course, we can't keep the doors locked all of the time, so if you have extreme valuables, such as laptop computers, feel free to take them into the studio, as long as they are not in a footpath or in danger of being damaged by the equipment. |

Only YOU Can Prevent Class Cancellations
It's all about pre-registering!
It happens more often than we would like: the dreaded canceled class. We only need a minimum of 2 people to keep any class on the schedule, although the more the merrier! Please sign up in advance to keep classes on the schedule. We love seeing you!

Remember Your Socks!
Keep those tootsies warm...and more!
We've received a few requests to remind everyone to remember to wear socks in the studio. This is just a simple precaution to contain the spread of various foot ickies such as ringworm, athlete's foot, plantar warts, etc. And if you're taking group equipment classes, please remember to wipe down the footbar well. Thank you!
