 Katy's Ponderings...
While channel surfing through Netflix late one night, I
happened upon
a movie about the Dalai Lama and was temporarily riveted. Although the film was filled with the unfamiliar sights and sounds of a land far away, the hook for me was the people's search for the Dalai Lama in the time between leaders. The belief is that the spirit of the Dalai Lama is reincarnated in a new life, and following the death of the previous spiritual leader, the people are searching the hearts of each young Tibetan child for signs of the incarnation.
