 Ryan Jacque

Chipmonk

Ryan Jacque specializes in spectacularly detailed pencil renderings. Known for nature and wildlife scenes, as well as incredibly lifelike commissioned portraits, his work may be best described as painting in pencil. Often mistaken for a photographic technique, Ryan''s style creates a unique, enduring and endlessly compelling work of art.

Ryan was born in Western Massachusetts where he still resides today with his wife and two daughters. A gifted artist from early childhood, Ryan attended The Ringling College of Art and Design and Paier College of Art. Early in his career Ryan was privileged to attend John Seery-Lester''s "Wilderness Art Workshop" in Denali National Park .

4) Select a white area in the image. Keep selecting until you are able to make the image look just how you would like.

5) In the image bellow I was able to get the car how I wanted it but the license plate is still too dark.

You can select just the license plate so that the car doesn't become to overly exposed. Use the Rectangular Marquee tool and select just the license plate and use the Set White Point dropper to select the white area of  the license plate.
Great Job!
