Artist of the Month

.Shannon McCarthy is a self-taught emerging artist. She is an acrylic painter in Stafford Springs, Connecticut; she's best known locally for her annual One Night Show and her hand-drawn calendar book filled with tiny New England creatures. Her inspiration comes from chitchats with songbirds in the woods. She loves listening to the goldfinches sing outside her window.
Shannon's annual show takes place on November 13 this year.

Shannon is a fan of local farming and having tea with friends. She loves to paint for the sake of playing along with this beautiful world. If you'd like to drop her a sing-song line, please find her at: Shannon at ShannonMcCarthy.com

(price includes training on how to use the site, upload images and content). For an additional fee we will create a Fan Page for Facebook connected to your site.

Banksy, a popular street artist has put his name back into the news with the creation of a new opening for the Simpsons. Banksy illegally posts his art work all over the world and has yet to get caught which adds to his charm. The Simpsons opening features scenes of a sweat shop scattered with bones, laborers, kitties being mulched into the stuffing of Simpson dolls, a severed animal head used to close boxes, a panda being whipped and hauling dolls, a sickly looking unicorn, and more. You can view a clip of the opening by clicking on the link below.
