Artists of the Month

We are very lucky to work with some very talented young, emerging artists.  Thanks to internship programs at various schools Giclee of New England often has one or more talented young artists at our studio. We are stimulated and inspired by these enthusiastic young people.  Click on their names to visit their websites.  Mike worked with us this summer. At present, Katie and Amy are here for the fall semester. If you like their work, stop by the studio and let them know.

Photoshop Tip

Adding a Drop Shadow to an item or layer can make it stand out. To add a drop shadow be sure that layer is selected in your layers pallet. Click on the Layers style Icon on the bottom of the layers pallet (fx).  When the menu pops up choose drop shadow. this opens the drop shadow dialog box. You can adjust your drop shadow using the dialog box controls. But an easier way is to click on the drop shadow in the image. Here you can click and drag the drop shadow to where you want it. (be sure to leave the dialog box open while you do this) when you are pleased with the position of your drop shadow click on in the dialog box.

New Service at GoNE, Inc.

We have a new service here, at Giclee of New England, Inc. We are offering websites for artists. We believe that without an online presence, it is difficult for an artist to reach his or her full market. For one low price GoNE, Inc. will build a site that is completely accessible to the owner. (price includes training on how to use the site, upload images and content). For an additional fee we will create a Fan Page for Facebook connected to your site.
