!Explore prepares for 2010 2009 participants enriched by Paraguay trip
!Explore: A Theological Program for High School Youth is gearing up for summer 2010. Fifteen youth who now are in grade 11 or grade 12 will participate in the group experience at AMBS in Elkhart and the congregational experience when they explore ministry with a pastor-mentor in their own churches.
The 2009 !Explore program took ten youth and their pastors to Mennonite World Conference in Paraguay. They also attended the Global Youth Summit and visited Paraguayan Mennonite communities to learn about both the history and the current challenges of these communities.

"Call Wall" affirms young people
"Seeing my name on the Call Wall was really affirming. Having several people put my name up made me think maybe this is something God is really telling me to do."
The "Call Wall" at the Mennonite Church USA convention in July gave attenders an opportunity to name young people they know who would make good pastors in the future. Doran Stucky, whose name was put on the Call Wall two years ago, was interviewed about the impact this had on his decisions about the future direction of his life.
You can view the DVD with Call Wall interviews by visiting the AMBS Web page for the Call Wall, or by visiting the AMBS channel on YouTube (www.youtube.com/mennoniteseminary).
