School year begins

Please keep AMBS students and professors in your prayers as the new school year begins.
Give thanks for the students who are listening for God's call; pray for safety as students travel to campus; and ask for blessings on the worship and study that will fill the new school year.

Greetings
Goerge Brunk Greetings from the AMBS President's Office with its new occupant!  I am pleased to be serving AMBS and the church in this interim role between long term presidents.

AMBS is on a clear and steady course.  At the same time we have the challenges of transition and, like all institutions these days, the stress of economic uncertainties.  We ask for your prayers as we navigate this stage of the journey.

- George R. Brunk III, Interim President

Join the Celtic Spirituality Pilgrimage next summer
Celtic cross Come and join other pilgrims on a journey next summer to ancient, medieval, and modern centers of Celtic spirituality in Scotland, Ireland, England and Wales. The pilgrimage will be led by Marlene Kropf, AMBS professor, and Willard Roth, from June 11 to 28.

Embarking on a journey with fellow-seekers after God and opening one's self to new learning and adventures along the way can become a rich context for reflection, relationships and renewal.

To find out more, visit the Web page with details about the pilgrimage. Registration deadline is October 10, 2009.
