A gift now will help us at the end of our year
This year is a challenging one financially for AMBS. You will not be
surprised to know that income from donations has fallen behind what we had
hoped for toward the end of our fiscal year.
Faculty and staff--all of them--have pledged to give back to AMBS a portion of their earnings through the 2009-2010 year to help assure that expenses will be covered.
Each year we rely on friends across the church for approximately 45 percent of our income. AMBS continues to be strong and vibrant. However,
we need your gift now--before the end of June--so we can balance income with
expenses.
To give by credit card, visit the AMBS Web site or the Mennonite Church USA giving site, or call the AMBS toll-free number: 800-964-2627.

Pastors from the Millennial generation
We anticipate another strong incoming class this fall, including many young adults. That's good news for the church.
However, younger pastors have a different life experience and different needs and expectations in ministry. How can the church prepare for this new generation of pastors? Andy Brubacher Kaethler, director of !Explore, and Janeen Bertsche Johnson, campus pastor, discuss some of these issues in "The Millennial pastors are coming." |
