Because of their far reaching responsibility they can provide statistics that estimate housing values far better than any other organization. While prices will likely remain relatively steady, buying activity is predicted to slow down considerably. Homeowners who are in a hurry to sell may have to reduce their prices significantly in order to move things along. For others it may take a longer time to sell than in previous years.
